Mechanical Engineering

You may never see the systems designed by our Mechanical Engineering discipline, but you will know they are there. Inside hospitals, offices, classrooms, laboratories and correctional facilities are the systems that create a healthy environment, maintain comfort, save energy and money, preserve buildings, and reduce water consumption. The average person may take these systems for granted, but we never do.

Our original professional service, and still our largest department, works closely with our clients in the design of mechanical systems for new and existing buildings. In addition to working for architectural clients, we also provide services directly to owners. We have experience with multiple project delivery methods, including design-bid-build, design/build, and CM/GC. Our mechanical department currently has a large staff of registered professional engineers, designers, and technical personnel, many of whom are LEED® Accredited Professionals.

We strive to understand a client's special needs and apply the appropriate technology when designing a suitable mechanical system, whether for a moderate system upgrade or new construction using sustainable design standards.
