Energy Engineering

Our Energy Engineering discipline offers full building modeling and documentation to meet Oregon SEED requirements, LEED® documentation support, and utility incentive performance prediction and payback analysis.

We utilize eQuest software (based on the DOE 2.2 engine), as approved by the Oregon Office of Energy. We also have the capability to utilize other programs, such as Power DOE, Trace700, CodeComp, etc., if necessary to meet the needs for a specific project.

We draw heavily from our mechanical, electrical, and lighting design groups, while working closely with Architects and Owners, to provide a thorough and accurate understanding of how the systems (both static and dynamic) in a building function together, thus providing an accurate and reliable energy model.
