Jim Balzhiser opened his mechanical engineering firm in 1954 as a one-man shop with a two-fold objective: to become large enough to provide all the mechanical engineering services an owner, architect, or contractor might need, while maintaining the personal service and attention every client expects and deserves. Our firm has grown considerably since 1954, and now we offer more than just mechanical engineering services. However, we still provide clients with personal service, tailored to meet their specific needs. Over the years, we have gained experience with all types of delivery processes: CMGC, design build, performance-based and design-bid-build -- each requiring a unique set of services.
