When Symantec decided to purchase 14.3 acres of property from Sony Disc Manufacturing in Springfield, our services were recommended to Symantec by Sony based on our successful completion of two public and two private development projects in the industrial park area. The Symantec project was completed on an accelerated scheduled and required several months of extensive coordination of efforts between Symantec, Sony, and the City of Springfield's planning, economic development, and engineering personnel. Our surveying services included topographic and ALTA survey services, right-of-way dedication, lot line adjustments, and construction staking services. Construction was underway on the project less than five months after planning activities began.
