Beginning in 2000, Balzhiser & Hubbard Engineers provided mechanical design services to upgrade portions of the existing hospital and a replacement facility. Phase one of the multi-phase replacement hospital was completed in 2003 and houses the maternity department, and is the future site of their laboratory. Additional projects in the original hospital include an emergency room expansion and a cardiology renovation.
