Balzhiser & Hubbard Engineers provided mechanical, electrical, and energy engineering services for design and construction. The project included north and east additions to the building, plus renovation of existing space on the first and second floors. Renovated and new areas included small animal surgeries, clinical and exam spaces, library, office, teaching lab, research lab, and anatomy lab spaces. Mechanical systems included 100% outside air VAV units with heat recovery, chilled water systems, hydronic heating systems, medical gas systems, RO/DI system, and DDC controls.
